Based on New South Wales' Mid-North Coast NSW, Graeme Cox

been immersed in the art world as an Art Teacher for over 40 years. More recently, he has been able to pursue his passion of painting and drawing to develop his subjective style.

Markedly curious in his approach, Cox is hallmarked by his enthusiasm for exploring and combining varying styles and mediums. Claiming influences from many styles, Cox has been shaped by over forty years as an Art Teacher, his memories from travel, and his early years as a stockman in Western Australia.

Of Art, Cox admits "I didn't chose art. Art chose me...I cannot remember not doing art. Showing my mother sketches of my daily activities, drawing western and war comic books, drawing instead of studying... It is has always been the most successful and engaged way in which I can express myself. There is so many wonderful stimulus in this word to make art from!"

Cox is a member of the Hastings Valley Fine Art Association and regularly exhibits his work at local exhibitions.
